Naser Hakim

A UAE resident since 1995, Naser Hakim enjoyed a diverse and impactful Public Relations and Marketing Communications career with some of the biggest public and private entities. His role as Head of Media Centre at Dubai Festivals & Retail Est., and later the Head of Dubai Tourism media Centre, allowed him to have an in-depth knowledge of the vital economic sectors in Dubai and UAE, this includes Tourism, Retail, Events, Festivals, Gastronomy, Culture, Banking, Health and much more. An excellent communication strategist, Naser spearheaded city-wide Communication strategies that were implemented by all Dubai Tourism stakeholders. A talented writer both in Arabic and English, Naser also is very popular in the media industry and has a wide network of media connections both locally and regionally. These qualifications prompted Expo 2020 Dubai to call upon his services and experience to support during event time. There, he had the great honor of being chosen to be the scriptwriter for Expo 2020 Dubai opening ceremony, in addition to his success in ensuring the best coverage for the event among all local and regional media. “I love this city. Dubai is the land of endless opportunities; you just need passion and dedication and great things will happen”.

Mona Hakim

With more than 16 years of marketing experience working in E-Commerce, FMCGs & Consumer Electronics global brands, Mona’s passion for brand building evolved into a unique understanding of what clients really need to do to build a successful brand story. This prompted her to leave her successful career and cofound Kickstart Middle East, enabling her to passionately serve her clients without the limitations and politics of the corporate world. She believes that every brand she works on is her own, and puts a lot of care, love, and attention to detail in all her work. Throughout her career, Mona spearheaded marketing strategies and tactical campaigns for global brands such as Unilever, Nestle, Samsung, Jumia, and many others, whereby she successfully achieved and exceeded the business targets set for her role. “My vision for Kickstart ME is to grant entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses high-standard quality marketing work while achieving their business goals through personalized plans and processes. But, I want us to be part of the process rather than just putting the process”.

She holds a degree in fashion luxury brand management with an experience of 5 years in Dubai.
